Since 2008, the masterclasses have offered students the opportunity to meet and play for some of Osesp's renowned guest artists. These sessions events are free and open to all. The classes cover different areas, from musical instruments to conducting, singing, and composition.

Founded in 2006, Osesp Music Academy was born out of the need for high quality professional training for young musicians at the beginning of their career. Offering lessons in music theory, musical instruments, conducting, composition, and music criticism, as well as artistic and professional mentorship, Osesp Music Academy allows students to work alongside members of the orchestra and take part in the daily life of Osesp's artistic ensembles.

Discover the Orchestra is a music education programme devoted to teachers and students from the public school system of the State of São Paulo. Started in 2001, the programme offers free training courses and pedagogic events to teachers and students to introduce them to the world of symphonic and choral music.

Osesp Young Soloist Music Competition is one of the main classical music competitions in Brazil. Created in the 1940s by conductor Eleazar de Carvalho [1912-1996] and initially organised by the Brazilian Symphony Orchestra (OSB), the competition was resumed by the Osesp Foundation in 2017. The winners have the opportunity to play with Osesp as soloists in concerts at Sala São Paulo.

The new Osesp release under the Naxos Records is now available on all digital platforms. The album Violin Concertos | Mendelssohn – Tchaikovsky features two thrilling works performed by Brazilian violin prodigy Guido Sant’Anna, accompanied by our Orchestra under the baton of Music Director Thierry Fischer: the Violin Concerto in E minor, Op. 64 by German composer Felix Mendelssohn, and the Violin Concerto in D major, Op. 35 by Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. The recording took place in July 2023 at Sala São Paulo, with production, engineering, and editing by Ulrich Schneider.
